Albert G. Endres, Jr. Elected Irem's 78th Potentate

      The Nobility of Irem Shriners unanimously elected Albert G. Endres Jr., of Hughestown, as their 78th Potentate at the annual business meeting and election heldSaturday, January 21, 2012 at Irem Country Club, Dallas, Pa.

      Elected with Illustrious Sir Endres were Cataldo J. Saitta, Chief Rabban; Paul D. Detwiler, III, Assistant Rabban; Scott R. Thomas, High Priest and Prophet; Edward M. Reese, Oriental Guide; James J. O'Boyle, Treasurer, Harry L. Wood, III, P.P. Recorder.

      Elected Imperial Representative were Illustrious Sir Albert G. Endres, Jr., Cataldo J. Saitta, Chief Rabban; Paul D. Detwiler, III, Assistant Rabban and Scott R. Thomas, High Priest & Prophet.

      Elected to a two year term as an endowment fund trustee was Past Potentate Richard A. Belmont.

      A reception honoring all newly elected officers was held the following day,   January 22, 2012 at Irem Country Club with all Nobles and Ladies in attendance, enjoying dancing and refreshments in the main ballroom.

      Ill. Sir Albert G. Endres has been an active member of Irem for the last 20 years.  He has served in leadership roles in the Provost Guard, Uniformed Units and the Irem Board of Governors.  He is a member of the Irem Golf Association and participates in the Tuesday Night League and the Easy Riders on Wednesdays.

      Masonically, Ill. Sir Al is a 50 plus year member of Valley Lodge No. 499 F.&A.M. in West Pittston, where he served as Worshipful Master, Secretry and Treasurer.  To this day he still confers degrees.
